264. About the Israelites.

The verses (17:4-8) of the Quran talk about the Israelites and their dominance in the past, and how they were later reduced to nowhere.

The power the Israelites wield today should not be misconstrued as contradicting the Quran. because of the prediction in the Quran, that they will enjoy better times at a later date.

Thus if they transgress on being granted power, they will be decimated by more powerful people created by the Almighty can be understood by the phrase “When you turn against, we will turn against you” in the Quran.

They were tormented and tortured in the past by Hitler, the Roman Empire, and Muslim kings. Similarly it can be taken as a forewarning to the Israelites of today, if they transgress their limits they will be put in the custody of the more powerful.This is definitely bound to happen.
