62. The ways to spend money.

We can find the answer to the question: what kind of money should be spent? in this verse (2:215) of the Quran.

As a response to the question about spending money, the Quran clarifies in verse (2:215) “the wealth that is to be spent should be from a source well earned in the right way”, and also says on whom it should be spent. 

This verse emphasizes the need to spend more on parents, relatives, orphans, the needy and the nomads, 

People who spend on philanthropic needs leave their parents in lurch, and do not bother about their relatives. These are the people who need to be taken care of as a priority is stressed here.
